@teamtroduzco np dude! I follow movements I guess and I love a whole variety of music. While I won't lie if I hadn't heard "Straws Pulled at Random" I probably would've never fixated on a specific genre. My vietnam vet called it Meth Metal because its "too fast". I like to add in jazz stuff, but I have a thing for legato neoclassical. It does actually sound sick on an 8. Too bad I can't find a band though XD! keep the brutalz goin though bro!

that's sick. i'm gonna try that on my 2228. I'm planning on getting an agile or a quilt toped RGA8 as a back up. Sick playing man. I like how if you play an 8 string you have to be "sounding like" "(name random "djent" band)". Screw labels sick playing dude

good track dude! i recently bought an ibanez RGA8 and im gonna buy an 808 for this baby, when you installed your 808 did you used the EMG jack? or you stil having the stock one on it?

@BrutalG0re I don't know because I didn't put it myself, but I think they're the stockones because I had only the EMG pickup without anything else

You should buy a good Distortion Pedal, you would be Amazed at what it can do for your sound on that 8 string. Like a "Boss Metal Core" pedal, i know this isnt metal core, but it seems to really bring those strings into audible resonance.

@KreatorOfDeath1985 I have a doubleshot distortion (you can see it in the video) but I preffer just to use the valves (they sound more powerful) so i need a pedal with just a little gain... not a distortion... I've played Metalcore and Metal Zone I don't like em very much (I don't like distortion pedals by boss) tnx 4 your comment =D

Yea i totally understand, Im not big on boss but it brings out the low strings pretty well.

I actually Use an MXR fullbore Metal, i will never turn back, the thing is a monster, it might sound a little sterile if you dont tune it right. If you want little distortion but great tone, what about Steve Vais new Gemini Pedal? tried it out at guitar center, that thing is SMOOTH
