It has become very clear that many have jumped off the Obama ban wagon! Americans are beginning to open their eyes that these attempts at healthcare reform are nothing more then a power grab in Washington. The Pelosi, Reid, & Waxman rush was nothing more then them wanting to capitalize on Obamas inauguration popularity, which has faded. According to Rasmussen the Presidents approval rating has hit 46%.

This is actually something I love about our democracy. We're assertive and disrespectful of what we see as immoral and/or wrongheaded systems. America is beautiful.
The thing I hate is when it moves beyond shouting - when people actively attempt to censor others completely - I saw this at that rally. At the very end. The cops were involved and you who were there know what I mean

I was getting quite hoarse, it was hot and even the police couldn't get these people to return to the area they were permitted for. 99.999 percent of the chanting was "yes we can" and "what do we want-health care" , this poster just caught one tiny moment when we were trying to renew our spirits.
What people need to focus on is the KUCINICH AMENDMENT to Waxman's HR3200. It would allow Californians to still be able to vote in SB810(Leno bill) and MUST BE ADDED to whatever it is they are railroading through. Waxman is said to be OPPOSING IT, in spite of his proclamation during this CLIMATE CHANGE forum that he's always been "for states' rights." He was talking about the Pavley bill when he said this. Also, it was FAR from a "town hall." It was a scheduled forum at UCLA on Climate Change.

Look into Ezekiel Emmanuel and John P Holdren. These guys are proud open eugenicists and they want to depopulate the globe and you're not on their team.
Critics say the public option is really a Trojan Horse for a government takeover of all of health insurance. But nothing could be further from the truth. It's an option. No one has to choose it. Individuals and families will merely be invited to compare costs and outcomes. Presumably they will choose the public plan only if it offers them and their families the best deal -- more and better healthcare for less
You're right, it's not a Trojan Horse. There is nothing hidden about the FACT that yes, it is a government take over.
Sure, the GOVERNMENT is claiming we can "choose" to keep our private coverage, but how may I ask, will private insurance last when the government begins taking over? More and more will switch to the gov option which will eventually eliminate my private coverage.
If you think it won't lead to a monopoly, tell me the names of Canada's or Britains private ins. companies???
