  • does anyone know similar game to this Super Gashapon world SD Gundam? i cant think of it. im pretty sure its not gundam though, more like some human, mutant tiger and something else..... plz i need to know. it killing me.

  • i liek this and G-next. they both have things the other doesn't. G-next has more suits, better graphics, base defenses, turrets be better if they were stronger), up to 4 players, supply system, ace upgrades, custom maps easier. gundam x has more units, bigger and better maps, better AI (they dont build aqua gundams in space), more then one planet, and a full translation >_>

  • wooooow this game is epic

  • LMAO! I remember playing this! OMG! It was a pain looking for this game, even back then!

  • um...

  • The beauty is two player in lan with a friend; wish someone would finish translation of gnext

  • ahh you dont need it 100% to play and have an awesome round :P

  • Well my problem is it confuses me. Like they have these movable space station things and I don't know what they do. Or there are these sort of other space station things that "send" me into another region of space when I enter them. It confuses me :(

  • The movable space station things are colonies you can drop onto planets. Theyre liek huge bombs and ruin everyones' day.

and.. I dont know anything about teleportation stations :/

  • so you are suggesting that crashing whole colonies of people is a strategy employed in this game? Also, I will try to find some time to post the station if I can so you can see. I think they look rock like but i havent played it in months. You enter them and they bring you to another "sector" of space.

  • I think what KommissarMakita is referring to is the Colony Laser, which can be moved & rotated for optimum firing arc. Yes, there are special sectors like Axis & A Baoa Qu that are maps within the map. However, they show up in the sequel SD Gundam NEXT, not here that I've ever seen.

  • Oh okay! That makes more sense thank you. I might be able to play now that I understand what is going on.

  • I love you! I remembered playing this game but I couldn't FIND it agian or remember the name later!

  • All though I've long out grown the AI's combat and stragtic abilities I still lover this game very very dearly. I always start the enemy off with more tech levels, money, and let them conquer the other plants and stuff.

  • The AI in this game is definitely better than in G-next, but it is still very easy, especially when it comes to strategy. The fight is OK (still beatable), but tactically, you can defeat the AI with little effort.

  • I remember playing this, if i can just find the disk ( i use the Super Famicom disk doctor system). LOL I used to mass produce GM, then when I captured enough colonies I would mass-gundams, then z gundams and so on. But I loved my GM I out numbered the guys like 78 to 24. But my priceless memory wass when 5 of my fresh GMs got wiped by a half dead... um what's that purple mobile suit called in the crossbone army?

  • Probably the XM-04 Berga Dalas. Not surprising though, considering all the Crossbone Vanguard suits are pretty powerful.

  • but i wasn't controlling any one of the GMS!!! Believe ne i'm so bad having me control one unit can turn the tide on me big time

  • @LM314V21 - I mass produced Alpha Azieru myself and other mobile armors. The first time I played it. Gundam F91 is imba to mass produce. My personal favorite to mass produce is the one that looks like a Dragon, J-Fin or something it is called.

  • I just got an rom of this game, love it. But how do you get ships off of the planets and moon. I can get them onto the planets, but not off.

  • to get the ships off the planets you just have to move them onto a space port tile and select "launch" I think

  • This is weird some site had this translate as Gachapon. Which is the correct one?

  • Well, my import copy of Gashapon Wars spells it with an "S" So I guess that's Bandai's official spelling of the word.

  • Man I love this game. Used to play this a lot when I was a kid. Can you upload more vids?

  • Already have. Check the rest of my videos.

  • I agree, @azieru is a wonderfull Mobile Armor, but it is not unbeatable. Just fire everything you got at it.

A group of Zaku IIIs usually do the trick.

  • I love the game. Why didn't you clear all your crap units for the better ones?

  • Actually, this is the computer's turn. Plus, I actually field a fair number of grunt units when I play. Even though later in the game they're just cannon fodder, I use them to support stronger units during battles.

  • we should play some day =)

  • Alpha Aziel owns all.

My cousin and I actually imported the cartridge.. Im always feds/titans and he's neo/zeon. We've outlawed the crossbone vanguard because they're pretty uber.

  • Yeah, the Crossbone Vanguard do have a bit of an unfair advantage since all their tech is at least 30 years ahead of anyone else's. I guess that's why they got left out the Gamecube sequel, Gashapon Wars.
