You have to not only read in the raw machine code from the rom or real disc.. but you have to translate it to the system you are trying to emulate it on. And not only that, to translate it, you have to write equivalent functions on the system you are running it on so that if you get machine code to add two numbers you have to convert that to the PC version for example.
BUT, most of the stuff doesn't have an equivilent like adding numbers so you have to, by trial and error .. figure it out. Hard.
and after what, 4 years? I'm still pissed off at that fact >:o both TechTV and G4 used to be wicked awesome channels, and then ever since they merged, it's gone downhill from there T^T RIP ZDnet/TechTV...
