  • I am movin to the area in December. I really seriously considered quincy to live not only becasue it seems a little more affordable but seem like you dont have to risk your saftey for afordability. Is this a safe area????? I am from tennessee so I am just checking right now.

  • nice vid, my dad was born in quincy and lived his whole childhood in the wollaston neighborhood of quincy, my grandfather still does, im there all the time, and i love it....but they really need to fix the roads in wollaston, theyre seriously the worst in the state

  • Actually they are starting to pave some streets throughout Quincy. I don't know if they will be doing the Wollaston section or not.

  • Point Webster is the name of theMiddle School in the Quincy Point section, which is located just outside Quincy Center to the Weymouth line.

  • The Quarries are a great place to hike. There is also a group that does rock climbing at the quarries. I used to swim there years ago.

  • Great stuff, thanks for posting this. I easily recognized everything, no captions needed. Could have shown some of the beaches though.

  • Actually, I am adding the Beach. They have been doing the beach over and I have been waiting for them to finish. They are just about done, so pictures should be coming soon.

  • Houghs Neck is great. Especially this time of year.

    At one time is was a summer resort area, now mostly year round.

  • Wow! what memories .. I was born n raised in Quincy now living in Rockland, ME ..I havent been there in over 20 yrs. Really miss it even more now..lol yes captions would help. Sadly forgetting much of it.

  • woo love quincy the city of presidents and i thinks there selling it to south korea but they ran out of money i quess and the crane is called Goliath

  • It's a south Korean company that bought it out. They're moving it to Bulgaria. I got a tour of it just last week from the PM of the company that's moving it. I should probably post those pictures as I'm positive I was the last non-construction worker to go up into it.

  • I heard their selling the giant crane in 2007 to japan :( You can see that from all over the state almost O.O
