@crpaulk Thanks Ron. I think I will go with 2 inch to try to keep the speed up. I will also be instaling a 4 inch system that will be in addition, not replacing the 2 inch system further down the track
I will be recording episode 7 later this week. I have two small jobs to test it on before I record the video. 7 will be the final episode unless I decide to do some updates later.
@crpaulk Thanks Ron. I was having a think about your mitre saw bench in the truck. You might want to think about a making the bench wider (like the ultimate mitre saw)when using the saw. This could be as easy as making a plywood flap (same thickness as the benchtop) that has a piano hinge that when not in use, the flap is ontop of the existing mitre saw station, and when in use, you just flip the flap over 180 degrees with maybe a spacer on the drawers directly under the benchtop to support it.
I love the way this is progressing Ron. How long til episode 6?
My concern is that you will be trapped in there with a lot of dust, even with the two inch system. Would it help to have a couple of small whirlybird birds fitted to the roof?
Dude, you are insane. Great work and very inspiring.

Bigger is better as long as your vac can keep up. My system is working well.

Ron, how is the 2 inch vac system going? I am thinking about 2 inch but may go with 2.5 inch. Any thoughts?
