In my opinion, they ruined these characters. Luke to the dark side after he proved he couldnt be turned, then Han and Leias kid turns, then their other kid is killed. Whatever. They could have done so much better, I am sorry I read the books. Why couldnt they just have contributed to starting a new Jedi Order and introduce more characters.. whatever.
@destro319 they DID establish a New Jedi Order. And Luke didn't REALLY go Dark Side in the Palpatine Reborn arc, he just learned how to use Dark Side powers, Anakin Solo was killed in NJO, Caedus died too, but he fathered a daughter before he did, and Jaina is the only Solo child still alive. They also have plenty of Jedi in the NJO to go around: I know it's Star Wars, but per story you can only service so many characters, especially main plot threads involving the big characters.
Jacen is like anakin reborn, just like darth caedus and darth vader
