  • You started the reverse thrust before the nose gear touched...

  • @XXairplanemanXX

    And your point is...?

  • @ichirofan7 nevermind it was a dare

  • It would be really cool to recreate all these old FSX scenarios with your new skill and and better graphics.

  • Was it a flaps faliure or you did not deploy the flaps

  • is 777 really that wide ?

  • @ja60370 yeah i was on a -300ER, the seating was 3-aisle-4-aisle-3 in economy!

  • @GoingToBeAPilot1 i was on a singapore airlines flight before with 300, but 777 isn't that wide i think

  • @GoingToBeAPilot1 i was on singapore airlines with 777-300, i never think that 777 is that wide

  • @ja60370 yeah it does seem a bit wide

  • @GoingToBeAPilot1 hey can you check out my 'no flaps' video landing? to be uploaded soon. with the same plane

  • why did you glide down that runway for such a long distance????????????

  • i DONT EVEN USE THE FLAPS MOST OF THE TIME I DONT SEE WHAT THE BIG DEAL IS

  • @arun3151997 ur aircraft goes to fast at approach causing gear damage and sometimes a real rough ride down the runway, and can take forever to stop flaps were made for a reason so use em or else u wont be a good pilot (not saying u arent)

  • Flaps are not used to slow down the aircraft on the runway but in thee air during the approach, with flaps, you have to land at a speed of 140knots and without at 160-180 approximately .

  • i used to have flight sim 98, to land I would just decrease n1 to idle, and set the spoilers, when on the ground I would just use the brakes. I sometimes would land at unrealistic speeds like 200 knots, If I were a real pilot the passengers would have been scared shitless.

  • 777 heavy Go around ,repeat , Go around!

  • @ArksTheArks Me too! :)

  • When i was stil a noob in FSX i landed with no flaps, reverse thrusters, spoilers only using brakes, and i got decent landings :D

  • @ArksTheArks just like me :)

  • @ArksTheArks so do I! but I didn't stop in time and over runned the runway :(

  • @ArksTheArks What kind of program is this. I always wanted to try FSX for commercial aircraft. Loaded on PC? Under what program name? What are the system requirements? I sure would like to know.

  • @rock853okg This is a game called Microsoft Flight Simulator X

  • Hes good

  • wht is all this anomated crap? i want to see people scattered on the runway

  • @insperatiojn It´s a simulator, and it´s not crap...cessna is one of the best youtube pilots out there.

  • How did you stop so fast?

  • @RZ3296 A combination of reverse thrust, spoilers (speed brakes), and brakes. Normally flaps would be included, however this video was to demonstrate a landing without them.

  • yout probably wasted enough runway that you could have landed on......

  • Good job I try this on my flight sim and I always crash or something

  • so... who needs flaps :)

  • You're taking every precaution on landing so you're using more runway. But why are you trying to do the best job? It is just a flap failure.

  • Please,please.. Do it in the Congonhas (SBSP) It's located in Sao Paulo,Brazil.

If you do it, i'll say you are good.

  • particular. im not sure why its hard to correctly simulate braking, but it is.

Theres a very likely possibility that your plane wouldnt have stopped and oveshoot the runway.

  • irl you had to go around. without flaps (emergency landing) pilots are strongly recommended to hit the runway at the beginning of the treshold, you landind 1/4th along the runway.

The physics of braking (deeceleration) is very badly simulated in flight simulator. Which cant be said about the other flight physics, its very realistic, and since its a sim that is a good thing.

the reality of braking is very badly done. Airplanes dont slow down the way they do in fsx or fs9 or any flight sim in

  • Where did u get the plane>

  • i had a flap failure right now and cause of the weight i had to land at a whooping 205 knots but with reverse spoilers and auto brakes at max slamming on those carbon brakes i stop fairly fast

  • @houshidar558 Ur bad at that position try slowing down your throttle

  • @OpticQ if i came in slower i would fall out of the sky i was flying a 747400F and i was pretty heavy should have dumped fuel though but i was over ocean when i had the failure if i did no way to circle in land.

  • @TheTijger321 English? you speak it?

  • you always ask us to not flare the plane too early but you flare the play quite early.

  • sorry but landing sucked. i hope you better now since this video

  • @chrisklein21 HUH? that was a pretty good landing

  • @RandomPedestrian63 not really, flared WAY to much and floated down the runway pretty far

  • @floaterHD Floating down the runway is fine when the runway is that long. Plus, he landed without flaps. Pretty good.

  • had a flap failure on a b767

  • muito bom o pouso sem flaps

  • you can use half spoiler,i often did this if i have no flaps too...

  • do you know how to get emergency vehicles on standby during free flight?

  • Back when you were using the default planes.

  • your lucky you even got it to stop, I suck at landing... Especially since I can't get the darn thing to land on the runway

  • 59 secs im never getting back...

  • how did u do the info of the aircraft thingy on the top left corner? how ??? the read coloured words... how did u do it ? plz reply thanks.

  • I was thinking, but the default FS2004 Boeing 777-300 looks really fake. I have watched a real 777-300 take off and from what I see, the gear animations are way too off, the fuselage's width is too long, and the gear height is too long. Not to say that FS2004 is too fake, but just letting you know.

  • @ashermamen234 hehe,i just kinding dude.just a fun time

  • @ashermamen234 epic fool,

  • wow that was a fail. well at least every ones safe right?

  • @ashermamen234 try to fuck a girl,stupid fck

  • No flaps would mean you have a harder landing with *less* of a long flare/big drift down the runway, not more of a drift for ages. The flaps generate lift which means there's obviously going to be more lift with more flaps set than if there were none.

Like the person said below, just get the thing on the ground, who cares about super smooth landings. As long as it's safe, nobody is going to care. :)

  • i think you care more about having a smooth touchdown instead of getting the airplane on the ground and being able to stop safly (not slidding off the runway) if there would have been a shorter runway you could have not stopped in time...

Im not saying its something bad though...your landings are really smooth and i rekommend you keep them that way :-)

  • ooooo good landing............. I did a exacly landing like that but with a DHC 6 twin otter

  • Adam31799. how did you made a emergency landing?

  • this is fs2002 YUCK

  • @cilginofluu nope

  • @cilginofluu fs2004 idiot

  • Now i know why a plane needs flaps

  • is that fs2004

  • @Mentmanjr Yes, it is.

  • @Reidar00 im not saying your vidios suck or nothing because they are really good but you sould get get fsx

  • OMG! why did i deleted my FS2004??

  • How much is this flight simulator??? Nice video by the way

  • wat a wierd plane

  • a very nice flare

  • Oh, thanks for landing in the town I live near ;p (KLNK= Lincoln, Nebraska)

  • whats that faiure

  • I am your 79,901st viewer! :D

  • how do i ativate the speed brake

  • @narutojose2 "/"

  • @p3x197 thnx

  • @narutojose2 press /

  • @narutojose2 "."

  • flaps are here to decrease speed and make that the aircraft could fly at low speed without fall. sorry for my english,.... not a good landing, eaven with flaps failure!

  • Shame I can't rate this as shit, instead I'll just say it's shit!

  • Gay.... Fly for real. Then talk....

  • nice landing besides the flap problem

  • the only failure in this plane is the pilot ^^

  • I fly with this triple 7 on my fs2004 :>.

    Love it :>... great landing

  • honestly, for having no flaps, this was one of the softest landings i have seen

  • can anyone plz tell me when i should apply the flaps and what they do thx.

  • @computer305 well flaps r used to decrease the takeoff & landing speeds of aircraft well more-less the stall speed so the plane can go slower so it needs less runway to land they create lift so a certain degree are used depending on rwy length & 4 MOST landings you will use full flaps try to have full flaps by the time ur r like 5 nm out give or take but basically what they do is decrease the stall speed of the plane for landing so the plane can come in slower and create lift for shorter takeoff

  • @computer305 depends on the length of the runway, the type of the runway , the distance between you and the runway , your current ultitude , your speed....all this you will learn by practicing more....but for land with your full flaps

  • very nice landing u flared just in time

  • shouldn´t you use the thrust when all the wheels are down?

  • i have never seen a smoother landing

  • nice flare...

shoudlnt be one to be talking...since i only can fly a cessna lol

  • Landing without flaps in simulator is not that difficult. I've tried once on A330 and set the difficulty as highest as possible. i managed to land safely as well but it was a bit bumpy and passengers may not like my airline anymore.

  • good landing

  • i wud be impressed if that was a short runway

  • especially with higher approach speed since u lost the flaps you should aim for the piano keys and not a greaser so you can stop at the right time. Nice landing anyways! good job!

  • wow perfect landing!!!!!! :O:O:O

  • more fs stuff why not post this in tag line? that way i would avoid it!

  • that was some landing dude

  • What was the position of your stabilizer...?

  • Flaps create more drag thus creating more lift when flying at lower speeds which is why they are used for take off and landing.

  • hey cessna154 i like your videos but i have a question.... How can you put the speed brakers without going to the virtual cockpit when you land???

  • @fablehottie Press "/" to arm the spoiler Ctrl + /

  • @jasleil or the ; (semicolon) key in some computers

  • @computexpert Wow, never know that.

  • @fablehottie use #

  • hmm i think a boeing 777 can go good without flaps but nice vid:)

  • i'll take any failure except a flap failure...i hat'em!

  • its easy to land with a flap failure

    just reduce speed-alot

  • I don't mind flap failure as much as Double engine failure... That's just stressful!! :-)

  • yeah thats tru...cause usually all of you systems will crash...so ur just a glider with out avionics...the worst ones are if it happens during ur climb...im a little happier when im at 30,000ft so that i can have enough speed...

  • @hubbajuba Not in a 747.. Just sayen. lol

  • Landing gear failure sucks, specialy if your flying in a f-18 lol

  • @8justin88

    Same here

  • whats the name from the version?

  • nice very good!

  • Flaps and speedbrakes look fine to me. You floated a lot over the runway.

  • The flaps look fine to me.

  • whats the name from the version?

  • It says it on the disp, Its flight sim 2004

  • linclon NEBRASKA?

  • it looked like the shuttle landing

  • is this fsx, fs9, or diffrent? If fsx, were 2 get the plane?

  • its the default 777 on fs9

  • its 2002 thats andmark airlines 777

  • if u had problems turning u should have compensated with increasing the thrust in either engine depending on which direction you wanted to turn but gd idea nice vid

  • 2004

  • 2004 actually

  • wow that is a long runway

    blah

  • cool

  • you landed to half of the runway (:

  • Your supposed to in a situation like so

  • too much flair!!!

  • PLEASE READ: If i right click the screen and go to airtraffic, i select a plane to look at. (not multiplayer) So then i try to find the plane in the air but cant find it... how do i find a plane from the list?

  • is that 2004 or 2002?

  • 2004.

  • nice landing :)

  • Why do you guys get so pumped up by sims? You can do almost anything in a sim...........

  • tbh if that happend to me i would just turn my engins off then i will land or point nose down, risky yes but your not gunna stop without worring

  • Comment removed

  • well but i kinda see flaps as a saftey feature like abs because it increases drag and which makes the plane go up a little more

  • That was a great and perfect landing. Besides where did you land?

  • I live over near willow grove nas and the A-10s herw will do no flap landings ever once in a while for practice

  • graceful landing considering a flap failure but i have a real 172 and i land with no flaps but still nice landing

  • Cessna 172 vs A321....Cessna Stall Speed of 45 knots clean, Airbus Stall speed of 170 Knots clean....Now try this....I work for Continental, had a Plane that the landing gear would not retract.

  • 170 knots stall speed? Are you talking about a overloaded A380???

  • do u know if the 757 is etops rated i spaced and my moms a white nuckle flyer and scared to death to fly over water

  • were did you get it

  • the flaps arnt broken you just used a cheat : P

  • What? It's no cheat. You can select flap failure in fsx. Maybe actually try it before you say hes cheatiung

  • Well i hav the game and it wont let me do that so i wwas just sayin

  • how did they fail

  • Without flaps, the plane actually floats on top of the runway when you try to land it.

  • You're funny because the reason hes flying fast in the first place is because his flap failure. Smaller aircrafts do not need to use flaps as their average speed is a lot less than a 777. Btw your last statement about slowing down is retarded because flaps are used to slow the aircraft down and without then he can't really slow down. Other than speedbreaks but that's another story..

  • actually flaps are used to decrease the stall speed not decrease the speed

  • @anush10 They are used for both. The drag they create helps slow the aircraft down.

  • @anush10 but by decreasing stall speed, it is then possible to decrease speed to lower than what might otherwise be possible if the flaps were not there. beyond that, they do create a decent amount of drag, which will slow a plane down or result in a loss of altitude for a given power level.

  • @anush10 True that, but they do kind of act as brakes though...in the sense that they literally stop air and allow you to fly slower.

  • @anush10 they also create drag, so they do slow the plane down quite a bit

  • @anush10 Lower flap settings are basically only increasing lift, but higher flap settings are mainly used to reduce speed, increase rate of descent and able yourself to have a lower pitch at a given coefficient of lift. Decreasing the stallspeed is only an application of flaps, not a sole purpose.

  • @SebakSwe

yes, they are used for both. However should be used for the purpose of decreasing the stall speed, the same reason they are used on take offs. As a result the plane does slow down, an added benefit of putting flaps down

  • eerrrr slatS? what about them

  • Whats the difference between Slats and Flaps ????

  • Slats come down infront of the wing to increase the surface area. Flaps fall behind the wing and do the same thing. Just something else to increase lift needed in a landing situation.

  • Thanks

  • can u move slats down but not flaps? or do they go hand in hand
