Don't care about Arminianism, Calviknism 4 or 5 points and all that garbage and it is garbage and get this through your pea pickin brains. Is Jesus the Son of G-d, or is He not? Did He come in the flesh or did HE not? Did He die, was He buried, or was He not? DID HE RAISE ON THE THIRD DAY and do you accept Him as your personal savior? Is the bible the absolute bottom line of truth for you and your life or is it not. That and that alone is all that's totally important and get that straight now.

To interpret the foundation of the American Constitution as a new biblical 'Fall' with the temptation and steady growth of scularism is pretty awful myth making. In many ways liberal secularism is the disowned child of protestantism and perhaps even Christian civilisation (it certainly never emerged anywhere else). Once you privatise the inner experience of salvation and give emphasis to concience and the pursuit of 'Truth' you start to pour acid on the old certainties - eventually even these.

Schaeffer was a godly Christian man who told the truth. I encourage every Christian to listen to his wisdom about God's Word. Everything Schaeffer said about secular humanism is coming true. The acceptance of socialism in much of America is the by product of secular humanism. Christians must proclaim the gospel and stand up for God's Word in every area of life. Pastor Don Robertson

Dude, Schaeffer was lost. He was a classic four-pointer, and a man very confused about biblical interpretation and the subject of knowledge. He was taught and trained by Van Til, and continued to admire him until his death.

Schaeffer was not lost, he may have not been a 5 point Calvinist. His theology may have departed from Augustine in some respects but you have no authority to judge his soul. His son though it seems has departed from orthodox christian faith. His son Frank Schaefer needs prayer. So do I and so do you in some way too.
