or it could just be an an accident that the bottom of the mote got cut out of the shot and its actually real. acidmods do awesome moding work like this and you say that its fake just like a big slap to the face.

Looks like the track ball does the same thing as the D-pad which is less than an inch away.
I don't know how you can justify this as faster than the pointer. Are your wrists THAT bad?
