Nice one mathias i did a bit CB myself back in 1999-2003 and during the peak of last sunspot cycle during the winter months the bands were full of russian and american ops.
Last time i checked the bands here there was hardly any activity i'll bet it's buzzing now that we are approaching the next peak in the next few years.
I might get my rig out and have a listen if i can find the time.
Great capture. Anyway, trust me, this is just the begining. Maybe you'll enjoy next year all the CB band full of US stations, specially in AM if I remember corectly, at signals reaching sometimes 5/9. I remember, here in Romania, in 2001, before the 911 event, all the 40-channels band was full of AM transmissions from all east coast of US between 5/7 and 5/9 and this only from a vertical 5/8 antenna
I use 1/4 lambda but don't know precise type, as this antenna was overtaken from my father around 20 years ago. This antenna survived all storms like Kyrill, etc. so far. :-)

By the way, BBC is guest on FM here today. :-)
