  • I love dreadlocks on a man they are wonderful!!!

  • dis guy is on pornhub

  • @yungSavage317 lmfao!!!

  • whats the spray for?

  • What are you twisting his hair with BLACK GEL? Oh my goodness

  • dis dude is on pornhub

  • I looooove dreads... just not brave enough to wear them :)

  • Great video ! Can somebody tell me the name of the song

  • @myartblog the name of the song is "Mbambou" by Sekouba Bambino a Guinean musician. You can search his videos on youtube.

  • my friends think I'm stupid for wanting Dreads bc i'm white. I'm like, dude, it's an amazing hairstyle. For amazing people.

  • @Xigbar01 Do you and the hell with what people think

  • I hear that dreadlocks smell like old cheese after a while. That also looks like a whole lot of trouble.

  • @CarFox6 surely if you don't take care of your hair (wash it), it will stink.

  • did you use gel?

  • CAN U GET DREADS IF U HAVE STRAIGHT HAIR?????

  • @TheBossylady1 its for all lengths

  • HOW MUCH DOES THIS COST?

  • @drummerzachb888 120 to start, and 50$ to maintain

  • @drummerzachb888 mine only cost about $70 to start, and to maintain, idk. most people who know how to do hair, can re-twist for you. starting is the part that needs the salon people the most.

  • Wow they must want the locks to be shiny!

  • dndt like how she did it tooo much gel and dndt even pick his edges up!!!! sorry but imma hair stylest and i wouldn dare use gel in dreds

  • this chick put way to much product in his hair. All that black gel gonna flake right off and its gonna be in his dreads. I had a loctitian use that on mine and i was washing itout forever. to much product when obviously he doesn't need it.

  • O-H-I-O

  • two questions: is it truew you cant wash your hair for like three months after you do this?

second question: im a balck guy and im in a band and i want hair i can head bang with :) like stuff that moves so i assume my only two options are dreads or micro braids i was wondering how long my hiar has to be to get micrbraids. its about a 1-11/2 inch fro right now.

  • @casanovakid55 You can get away with the not washing if you use essential oils diluted in water and spray it directly onto your scalp, then very lightly massage your scalp. I did this for the three-month period of initial locing to keep my scalp as clean as I could and to especially keep any funk down, as I HATE the smell of dirty hair!! When my stylist washed my hair, she was surprised because when that warm water hit the hair and scalp, there was NO stench, just essential oil smell.

  • what kind of style does this guy have?? i want them like tht thick...so what should i ask for when i get them dreaded

  • That is a lot of product she used in his hair. He will be washing it in a matter of a week or two. Natural products or very lite weight products should be used and not gels or waxes. I won't be going to that shop.

  • @deronwms Wasn't it??!!

  • wow WAY too much gel was applied, lol and the sad part is hes still gonna be washing that out of his hair months, even years from now. once you put something in your locks and it becomes imbedded in the core of the lock, it STAYS there. If you're wondering why your locks don't smell "clean" after a wash, its the buildup, it's not your fault, switch locktitions. That's why i stress natural products because theyre easier to wash out and they moisterize the hair and scalp.

  • @peachesandsunshine9 I found that out the hard way, too. The first time I tried to clarify my hair, I kept getting product coming out of my locs. It took me a couple of good washings over the next month to remove ALL buildup. I found the key for my hair was once the buildup was loosened and coming out of the locs, RINSE, RINSE, RINSE, and SQUEEZE, SQUEEZE, SQUEEZE!! LOL If your locs are heavy after a washing and conditioning, they STILL have buildup!!

  • Bon Travaill!

  • do u think u can send me some tips or starter videos on how to start out sum dreads please??

  • Check out dreadcap.com thank you and love your video.

  • so how much was this hairstyle ? african braid shops are too too expensive ! and have you waiting ALL day ! never again, I've learned my lesson

  • do you tie in a knot

  • Hi i live in fremont, oh how much to start the dreadlock process?

  • @irepbmore

    yes, you are.

  • Beautiful, natural locks! At least you know how to lock hair; however, others are using a crochet needle and styling gel. Their way breaks the hair!

People be careful in letting someone "lock" your natural hair. They ain't doing it correctly. Ask them to show you the products they use. Read the ingredients! Use NATURAL ingredients; nothing with alcohol.

    Go to a LOCKOLOGIST!

  • You are an idiot! Why would anyone with locks and dreads use a straightening comb on their NATURAL hair! That's STRAIGHTENING HAIR!

Big differences between dreads vs locks.

BTW, since your father is Black; YOU are Black! No such thing as 3/4th Black. Learn your history..ie: Bible.

  • if you do that tecnique of locking dreads you will be all day...how about palm roll

  • is his hair palm rolled

  • naw man i got a white home boy his dreads indentical to mine an his hair look like str8 up black hair like know lie but he a honky str8 blonde hair blue eyes lol

  • All i know is that this is West African music and the main instrument being played here is called a kora (sometimes there's a guitar being played in the background). You can check out the artist called Sene Africa--they sound just like this one.

  • what song is this?? i LOVE IT!

  • how long does the process take to grow your hair out and you know how to dread and retwist really really good

  • yo hair is fresh and this is a nice song

  • How much did it cost, I wonder.

  • My hair is the most hard to control hair on earth! i go to sleep an wake up wit dreads. one of these days ill get sick of it ill let it follow its own path. It has a mind of its own.

By the way im really feelin dis song! ive seriously listened to it like 5 times. its puttin me in a good mood. lol am i a wierdo. yes.

  • what kinda music is dis? lol

  • your dreads look dope.

  • no irie man, i and i to the most high dread for the honor of jah an the exploitation of babylons expectation.

  • I think she used a gel/wax mix thats horrible

  • She sure is putting a lot of gel on the length of the loc. He prob has buildup.

  • What beautiful music!

  • doesn't dreads thin out the edges and roots of your hair?

  • sometimes they can

  • No, they do not. Well, I take that back, I am sure there are some instances when the dreads may damage the root of ur hair, usually though, that happens when one doesn't take care of them as they should.

  • his dreads are ugly! its not good to use clips. when ma hair gets done she twists the whole dread not palm roll but twist cus palm roll dreads are ugly so its best that the person twists the whole dread

  • Where did you hear that it is not good to use clips? My loctician uses clips on my hair when I go in for maintanence, and my dreads look WONDERFUL, as a matter of fact, everyone I know with dreads gets thier hair cliped, and all of them have BEAUTIFUL dreadlocks.

  • his dreads are ugly! its not good to use clips. when ma hair gets done she twists the whole dread not palm roll but twist cus palm roll dreads are ugly so its best that the person twists the whole dread

  • how long muyst hair be before dreadlock?

  • mid way down your back

  • but wattabout BABY dreads...(i have a small to midsize afro) thanks

  • The minimum size is 3 inches. But if you want dreads like this video its mid way down your back

If you have your hair over 3 inches you can do it no problems.

  • how much was it? and time?

  • what u do with those yello rods?

  • Whats the Name of this song, and who is it that sings it???

  • is this in columbus, ohio?

  • yes

  • @ExpressBraiding whats up cols!!

  • i love this music...who is singing to it? the was to look them up...

  • could a white dude get his hair done like this? cuz im wanting to get them mini dreads they tight az hell

  • @lildome1 yes. there are many many many videos of white people having their hair dreaded...

what do you mean by "mini dreads"? really thin dreads or short dreads?

  • short ones if i could find sumone to braid mine i wud get it done.

  • hmmm, baby dreads... i'm not a hair expert so i have no idea but it wouldn't be impossible. i think the back-combing method would be the way to go for you... and locking wax. you'd just have to make sure you take extra care of it til it locks.

check out Youtube user outer432 he has videos of his dreads which were done by back-combing in his uploads.

  • actually if you're patient enough, you can comb them out. it's really not that much work. it all depends on how many locs you have... braids are cool too though

  • then stop watching dread videos

  • @YungReg88 its a process like any other hair process...you can take your dreadlocks out...my brother had locks was down his back, and after 45 hours of his wife going through a process of fine combin it out, he was lock free...But I had 18 years of brading my hair and now going on two years with my locks and loving it...its the same work to sit and get your hair done...once your hair is locked why would you want to take them out?

  • Bad ass work, love it.

  • i meant the width of it?

  • pls answer this wat size is his dreads here medium or wat pls?

  • New school long

  • yoo i hate gettin my dreadlocks done takes to long

  • how long has that dude had his locz?

  • You guys r killn me....your work is one of da best on youtube.

  • i want dreadlocks :(

  • yo shits rite

  • will this work if you have straight hair

  • yeah you have to back comb using a matting comb. (idk if thats what its called, its kinda like a dog comb)

  • i already got my dreads but thanks anyways.

  • perfect soundtrack music lmao...

  • That dryer is the "shit" i would sit under that no problem...

  • how much did they charge you for that or to do your dreadrs?

  • If you get'em done at salon or somthing does any one know how long it takes cuz i wants some clean ass dreds.lol

  • honestly someone please tell me if it hurts.... cause i got cornrows a few years ago and it hurt like a mutha so someone please tell me

  • Your tender headed. That happens whenever you get your hair braided nice and tight for the first time, but after awhile it goes away.

  • yeah a little bit

  • If I want to take my dreadlocks down, I'd have to cut my hair off? I don't have dreadlocks, I wanted them. But if I grow tired of them, then I would want to take them out. I wouldn't want to cut my hair just to get rid of the dreads. So would I really have to cut my hair off, if I had dreads?

  • Basically you comb them out using lots of conditioner, I can't be bothered explaining it but you can find videos on here that show you.

  • you can comb them out using massive amounts of conditioner... or you can leave them alone and let your hair grow without retwisting them and then get them cut where they matte (growing is a long process lols) or you can jus cut them all off and start fresh... :)

  • I have had dreads before, but had to cut them off. They were about the leangth as in this video. I want them back again so bad. But when I started mines, my hair was about 8" all around. I was wondering what is the shortest leangth I could start the dread process again? Also, I did 1" sections using the back comb method, how big were his sections and what style did you use? I have straight soft hair. Love the way his dreads look! Thanks and can't wait to hear back, thanks!

  • If not permed yes. and if too curled it could be to but with more work and the maintenance won't be easy to. Yes Caucasians can have dreadlocks also. to start, you simply need to buy the right hair cream for that.

  • Well i have mulatto hair so it's wavy and curly. I was wonderin if you guys could still make the locks look like the ones in the video?

  • getting that result takes time and great dreadlocks are never done overnight unlike braids.

and yes if you have patience we can start helping you get there, but when it come to deadlocks the end result always depend on the client.

  • im not saying anything but i learned that black hair is more resistant to this than caucasians and thats y caucasian hair falls out after a while...is that true?

  • one one side, yes black hair are more prone to give fast result because of its natural texture, but I have seen a lot of Caucasians with great dreadlocks and some good examples will be Rastafarian mulattoes.

  • @sitangyn im not sure if anybody answered u yet, but no. all hair can loc up, if left alone. i think it's juss how u take care of ur hair. anybody can have beautiful, healthy dreads. dont be discouraged. :)

  • @sitangyn hair falls out after a while beacause of 3 possible options:

    1) you r getting old (yes black people also lose hair when they get old, evryone does

    2) you have a disease, you dont take good care of your hair and scalp

    3) you wash your hair to much, you use stuf like style heat iron ... rly bad for your hair

washing your hair to much is bad, and if you dont do the soap out of it, it gets even worse

  • @sitangyn well its mostly because of the texture of the hair and a matter of the how much haiir u hve whether its thick or thin

  • Can u guys do that with curly hair?

  • how long does the hair need to be to get lock extensions?thanks

  • if you can twist it with a little comb then it can be done

  • I see you guys are in the 614! where at and how much does a retwist cost?!?! im getting tired of the lady i go to!

  • 2456 Cleveland Ave. Columbus, OH 43221

please check out website for direction and call the shop for any pricing request.

  • how much does that cost

  • When you are ready to go commercial with it... let us know! Just accept PayPay :)

  • well....honestly, it depends on what brown gel u use. As a matter of fact the cheap stuff flakes up really bad and cause irritation to the scalp. A good brown protein gel can achieve such results. With that being said....Ur work is great Express Braiding!

  • You said it all sister, It looks like brown gel not it is! Do you think it's possible to get the final result with brown gel? I don't think so. OK the recipe is a little secret right now.

  • I hope you aren't mixing that creme wax with brown gel. Brown gel will make it flaky and it isn't a good product to use for locks. Now the wax you are on point

  • Tell me what you really know about dreadlocks. by the way don't just assume anything.

  • It looks like brown gel I have been doing locks for over 15 years and I am a licensed hair stylist so don't assume I don't know what I am talking about I have been doing it for 15 years.

  • can dreadlocks ever be undone or would he have to cut all his hair off?

  • yes you can take out dreadlocks.search it on youtube.Applesandmustard took out one whole dread to show it can be done

  • really? i'll be sure to look that up, thanx! :o)

  • thanx! :o)
