@MYSWEETDAR Ah, see...now that's understandable. Yet you also do have to look at it from the skunk's point of view. Their eyesight is not that good, and something many times larger than you just suddenly appeared in front of you. You'd be frightened too, wouldn't you?

@threeby8887 The thing is, they're not being kept as pets, they're being rehabilitated for life in the wild. So if their glands were removed, once they were put back in the wild, they'd be stuck with no way to defend themselves.
