On a 65 66 mustang, the widest wheel you can put on the car is an 8" width. How did he get the 17x9 to fit in the rear?

hi there i wanted to know what 2v is...i started my first restoration of a 67 stang and its a c code meaning a 289 v8 but i saw on the net that theres a 2v after...do u know what that stands for... thanks

2v stands for 2 barrel. the size of your carberator, the mustang came with a 2v or 4v

i got the same type of wheels for my '66 fastback, they're boyd coddington Smoothie II's but mine are 17"x7s all four with 215 tires, and 1" spacers to get them perfectly aligned with the body
