At the zoo where i did work experience there was a very friendly komodo dragon i was even aloud to scratch him under the chin. the only time they get aggressive is around feeding time. They are really as smart as dogs

IT really pisses me off how people in the movies try to make it seem like animals in the movies are horrible creatures in real life.when in the movie,the humans are they ones who poured a toxic waste or sumtin makin the animals vicious.smh

@TheKaijuCritic94 Well in most creature features/animal horror movies it turns out to be the humans fault that the animals went crazy in the first place. The message of almost every movie like Komodo is DON'T FUCK WITH NATURE. The Komodos aren't just monsters in this movie, they're just predators, desperate for food because the humans somehow managed to kill off all they're prey.

@pythonfromhell Yeah, but nature doesn't really fuck us over like that. Instead we lose knowledge, scientific discovery, and many possible solutions to our ever-growing problems. Species themselves rarely attack humans directly because of us fucking with nature unless it involved breeding, and that's extremely rare in and of itself. We've bred dogs, cats, bulls, cows, and ponies. We just can't tame the bees. *Insert Nicholas Cage reference*

@AgaiLazen Yes animals usually don't attack people, but if a predator doesn't have any other creatures to prey upon and if humans are the only source of food for them to eat they would hunt people (if they're big and strong enough to kill and eat a human that is).

I never saw this movie; I was too freaked out by the part where the Komodo busts through the door and grabs the dog (I was young at the time XP). Now I really want to see this. Komodo dragons had real potential as movie monsters before Sy-Fy screwed it up.
