In my opinion. this movie is 2 movies. the first half is most definatley a sci fi film and it is very enjoyable. Unfortunatley bay had to include unnecessary action in the second half. over all though it is a solid movie in my opinion

I loved this film.Yeah Micheal bay isn't the best at making a good story, but he can make some BAD ASS action scenes and I'm all for that.To me this movie is one of his best films.Surprised that it didn't do so well at the box office (32.5 million I think).It could have used some more action in my opinion.Overall great film.

You're a pair of nerds...here's how its done.

Its a great movie, that as a thought provoking concept. It boasts amazing chase scenes, great art production and cinema photography and the climatic ending, is well punctuated with an arousing soundtrack. The only negative here in my opinion, is the casting. I did not feel Ewan Mcgregor was a good choice as an action man lead and his American accent, was somewhat annoying.

i thought this movie was perfect, it wasnt sci fi cheesy and it still had chasing and shoothing and cars and girls and little elements of sci fi but it wasnt cheesy, i actually saw this and didnt feel dumb watching it cus i didnt understand what the was saying lol like the discombobulater on sector 5 10 delta is contrusive lol u know i got the film lol im waiting for the second one i loved it, one of my favorites

thanks-it might have been better if it had a mythology, but Bay was too worried about fitting his action scenes in there (which were fanastic, btw, just not at the expense of character)!

Logan's Run did this sort of concept much better I think.

This review spent all its time just trying to classify the movie. This was obviously a movie of mixed genres. Could we please get beyond that fact and study its individual elements, such as the characters, the acting, maybe the music? I give this review 1 dot and a smiley. ;) At least these guys are reviewing mostly kickass movies and not every drama/foreign film that pass through.
