So technically i could just use a very very light coat of regular black tamiya paint couldnt I? I was hoping for some tips on how to tint the wind screen like a real car, you know, darker tint at the top to block out rays from the sun?
Another great video. I typically have two cutouts in the windows for my stampede (running 3s on grass). In this vid, your windows aren't cut out, so was just curious Jang if you ever do that or maybe running 2s it isn't necessary ?
I like window tinting more than just using window stickers.
Window tinting gives a realistic style to your RC car.
Tamiya PS-31 Smoke is actually the same as lexan paint, but it is a little thinner paint and you can get drips. So don't spray a too thick layer or layers after each other!
I never thought about tinting thw windows! =) I have a qustion at my hobby store there is a Prama Bigfoot body, the lexan looks blue, is this the film mask?
I used real window tint film for my Ramcharger scale trail truck. Many hours of smoothing the tiny bubbles from contoured areas. I would go this way next time, I just worry about getting the amount even across the window.
haha.. im sure those who were wondering about this appreciate the fact that you still went to the trouble of making this vid even though you were clearly feeling that its so basic that its not worth it.
hahah tinting your windows [hodl up and rc body]

I'm a new player, i put tamiya transparent paint on my whole body. Do i have to clear the paint before put the regular color on the body?

hey would it work if I got a tamiya translucent red and backed it with red as you said to make a candy effect or would it come out pink?
T1MBO95 10 months ago
@T1MBO95 translucent red 2 -3 coats then 2 coats of gold then 4 coats of black that would make candy paint
