  • best bike ever seen D:

    nice bike bro ;)

  • @MasterJedi, yes. From my experience some Harley owners have given me crap about owning my yamaha. Me personally I'm a motorcycle enthusiast, so I like all types of bikes. American,Japanese, Italian, British. It's all good.

  • I have a question, do non harley bike owners get any kind of shit from the hardcore harley fans? I'd like to know what the general consesus is. Because if I get a Star bike or another other japanese cruiser I don't need some old fart pseudo redneck giving me crap telling me how much better harley is blah blah. It'll pay to know ahead of time.

  • @MasterJediKyleKatarn Harley's are beautiful no doubt, and I love Harley's. But I think everyone agrees, Metrics pound for pound are better faster and much cheaper. Love 'em both but I own a metric. I can always see a Harley in my rear view mirror when I want too No hate mail please. 30 years and over 100k miles experience.

    Ferd.

  • @gst69man I like all bikes, I was just at the Honda and Yamaha dealership a couple of weeks ago and sat on the Shadow RS and Star Raider S and Stryker. I don't care too much about racing people even though I'd get a fast bike in a heartbeat on general principle.

  • @MasterJediKyleKatarn anyone who thinks harleys are better than any other well-known bike manufacturer in any category is just another sad soul brainwashed by the HD culture advertising.

If someone does insinuate HD is better, ask them WHY is HD better....

  • @ArtoDelFunko I already know why, it's because it's "American" and associated with coolness.

  • @MasterJediKyleKatarn lol, do they know the v star was built in the US too (-:

  • @ArtoDelFunko Dunno, I didn't even know that but of course the only Star bike I like is the Raider S. The Stryker is ok but they need to lose the ugly flames on the tank on the red and blue models. Pick a different design.

  • @MasterJediKyleKatarn punch im in the face if he does and set is arley on fire! thatll teachm to keep is mouth shut!

  • @rudy7921 I have a better idea, let him get one hit first that way kicking his ass would be self defense.

  • ooh sounds like you got the dreaded clunk on startup.. is it a pre-2003 model?

  • @ArtoDelFunko I dont hear no stinkin clunk.

  • @gst69man then what is that thunk noise at 0:05?

  • @ArtoDelFunko starter has a one way clutch

  • starter has a one way clutch

  • Yes, a jet kit is highly recommended. I used a dynajet jet kit.

  • Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I just got my V-Star a week ago and I was thinking about doing this. What does a jet-kit do?

  • @cypherus increased needle size to handle the extra air intake due the change in pipes.

  • Nice job! could you tell me what Jet kit is needed for this installation? I have an 05 classic and am going to put on the Speedster shorts. Thanx

  • very nice bike!!!!

  • nice sound!!

  • I have heard different things about weather or not it is necessary to install a Jet kit. Unless you have EFI you should install one. I ran mine for a week or so before I installed it and putting the Jet Kit on definitely made a difference in how it ran.

  • was it neccesary to re-jet the engine after the exaulst change

  • very nice sounding v-star....check mine out when u get a chance!!
