@meupnoseu definitely agree...I think the fact that they didnt use any CGI in this made it great. The explosion in the dock scene was probably one of the biggest I have ever seen in a movie..and it was real.

If you watch the trailer for The Reaping, you'll see how they cut it almost modeling after this one, when the countdown begin here, it's similar if not same in the Reaping when all the various steps of the plague and such happen

Really great Action film from old good the 90's. God, I miss that time so much. Jeff Bridges shines here. Suzy Amis and Lloyd Bridges did a great job too. I guess Tommy Lee Jones was superb villain because you really hate him.

I am really surprised this film isn't more well-known. It stars two Oscar winners and has an amazing ending. I enjoyed it and I would definitely recommend it to any true action fan. 8/10

I guess this was John's last year with the Boston Pops before returning to Hollywood, where everybody misses him there, even Steven Spielberg and George Lucas

the only trailer i've ever seen that uses the same shot twice (police truck being blown up - 'away' rather). you can just about get away with it in feature length movies but here, 40 seconds apart, i'm not sure it works.

Great trailer, disappointing movie. Since making this film, Forrest Whittaker went on to win an Oscar. Watching this, you'd wonder how. Yes, he's a great actor but in Blown Away it's difficult to understand what he's saying.

Its got just as many thrills. This one has better acting and more thematic scenes to it. And a good use of U2 which is prolly Tommy Lee Jones fav band in themovie haha. Which he does a great job in. You should watch it, its killer

He already showed before this movie he could play a evil brillant mastermind in Under Siege so I don't see it as weird when he did it before.

What would be weird is for Will Smith to play a minacious ghastly villain that is so deplorable and barbaric you just can't help but hate him.

Very good movie ! The scary thing it can happen any time any where. they are getting harder to disarm/ motion sensors ,inferred beams to break ,EOD is a thankless job and most of the time with the bomb making technology out there today your goose is cooked before u start. I am glad to be retired
