Hi. I am planning to buy a camcorder and I really want one of these. They are very easy to carry and handle. I love to vlog so I really want something thats easy to use like this. I'm not sure whether to buy the Flip UltraHd or the Sony Bloggie. Which one is better?

This is a 150 dollar video recorder designed for blogging and YouTube/personal videos. It does a superb job at what it is supposed to do. I don't know what people expect. You probably wouldn't want to record your wedding or something like that, as far as this uber douchebag wanna be journalist goes...well just don't quit your day job.

This is a bits of everything but master of none, you would be better served by getting a camcorder and you have a range of format for SD,Hard Drive,CD,DVD but also nightshot and even steady shot on some.

The Sony Bloggie PM5K is not that good in low light. I think you should test these camcorders in low light also next time.

The Kodak Zi8 is a better pocket camcorder compared to the Sony Bloggie. I own a Zi8 and for the most par it's excellent. I have 2 complaints on it though.

1) The EIS (electronic image stabilization) doesn't work...in fact most of the time it makes shakes and jutters worse.

2) The exposure metering on this camera sucks, even with face detect enabled. When recording a subject with bright light behind it, the Zi8 tends to under expose your subject.
