  • Good job on the work, you really do have a lot of time on your hands and dont drive the car much.

In my opinion it was too much work for toooo little pay off.

Work those 6 months and you could have done a full body kit + painted on your car :P

  • How'd your mum like all that resin on her stamped concrete driveway?

  • NZ HARD

  • why don't you cut the back bumper and fix at the front and the front fix at the back made your car looklike your face punk

  • no ofense, but your car is shit, besides if youre so rich as you say, then why do you drive that piece of junk and get a rich people car huh?? just saying

  • 6 months to do front bumper, 6 months to do rear bumper , 12 months to do 2 sideskirts + a couple of months for painting :D 3 years of work, but the car is rusty now...

  • nice, NZ diy that turned out great...can you post a vid or something after its been completed fully, like paint and shit

  • i like your energy kid.

  • If you still use this youtube account you need to post a video of your gto complete... that would be awesome

  • we need people like him working for body kit companies == , company ones are dodge as hell!!

  • how is it homemade and not bought ? you took only the top ? the other part is bought? so why not buy a pieace that fits from start? :P

  • @VanDamageII right, especially since they sell dat kit for cheaper

  • now make a home made suspension kit and put the car on the ground. nice vid too.

  • nice job bro. I'm making one myself for my car and I'd have never thought of stitching the bits together. cheers. luvin the t-shirt too lol kiwi rep

  • I think homemade is a bit misleading, it's two factory built parts stuck together the video should be titled 'how to modify a bodykit'. Don't get me wrong what you have done looks a hell of a lot better than some of the spit and chickenwire stuff I have seen driving around. Nice one

  • Personal taste but i think that black line across the bumper should of been painted over... Personal opinion good bumper thougb

  • As I was watching Part 1 I was like...man this guys all shit....then I realised you were being serious. Must say, good on you for posting up how you put your front bar together. Who ever is hating needs to get a job and fuk off. If you get a panel beater to do this he will charge you minimum a grand just to get it prep'd before painting. This guy just helped your broke asses by showing you an alternative cheap way to do it.

  • FAKE AND GAY

  • Kool vid cuzz, exactly what im lookin fo.

  • Kool vid cuzz, exactly what im lookin fo.

  • is that camera man on crack? u cant even see the quality of the fiberglass job.......the finished job is sick tho

  • is that camera man on crack? u cant even see the quality of the fiberglass job

  • aotearoa new zealand t shirt? shame man take that shirt off

  • rated man that looks sweetttt

  • yea good job but also i woudnt call it homemade just cuting the top part off the original bumper and puting it on a non homemade bumper

  • Like most ricers, he is probably STILL driving it around with primer on it....

  • @CurtShaw22 LoL it could be worse, could have ziptied the top and the bottom part and then left it like that. "Drifters edition yo!!!"

  • ههههههههههههههه هاي كاعد تمشر عليهم ووتالي طلعت عراقي

تخبل حبي والله شغل تنظيف وحلو بس عندي سوال

شنو اسم المادة الي حطيتهة وية الفايبركلاس

  • honestly it wasnt such a bad job as i was expecting. lol. when i saw you sew the things together im like... yeah... this is gonna work out on the highway. lol.

    good job.

  • well its kind of misleading first off u did not make a body kit u just custom fitted the body kit which is still handy to learn but making ur own body kit would mean its one u cannot find in a shop or if u used a premade design u made it from scratch or even used the original as a bases and came out with a whole new product second as someone mentions that isnt a body kit its just the bumber cover body kit would involve the rear bumber cover and the side rails as but still nice work

  • Sir, What do you call the wire that you use for stitching?

  • ricer pos

  • It turned out great! In the first video what type of wire did you use to stitch the bumper with?

  • Ugly....

  • God I wanna learn how to Fiber Glass... I don't like front bumpers like this, but it isn't bad work at all. You did a very good job, better than what I would do. Only I see the RH side doesn't look as good as the LH side, considering the lower end of the fender by the wheel. The vents do not match the other side, look a bit shorter and more roundish than straight like the LH side. But that is only because I am a spectator, not the artist.

  • Comment removed

  • lol make me a body kit for 94 del sol pay you

  • which type of wire did you use for stitching it together ?

  • it looked like the aftermarket bumper would have fit , but i guess not, woudnt it of just been easier just to modify the aftermarket one to fit , then cut and and do all wire stuff , the guy below was talking about how the wire was a bad idea, but if you dont have all the tools and other things , i dont see how the wire was bad , it kept it together ,and it got covered to were you would not even know that it was there. I dont think u really did much , but nice job , i like

  • The wires look ugly. So i would fix that at once...

  • Nice Job man..

  • good job mannn

  • Sorry but what u have done is a big fuck up .. Note one of the bumpers are plastic and the other is fiberglass .. you used polyester resin to join the two .. you did not even open the any of the surfaces and polyester resin does not even bond to plastic and on the face of the body kit you just used body filler, the amount you used it just going to brake out .. and the wire ? omg its sad to see people do this .. i guess this is why i get paid the big money to be a Composite Technician !!

  • stop saying that's a complete body kit, it's a god damn bumber

  • @harujp2 it's called a bumPer not bumBer...

  • @LongBeachPits562

It's called a TYPO forgive me for not being perfect unlike yourself obviously.

  • @LongBeachPits562 The same typo in two seperate comments on two seperate videos? I doubt it.

  • So how long did the ABS and Fiberglass bond hold up?

  • very cool. so innovative.

  • brilliant but it wasn't homemade it was more like custom fitment. 5 stars because no one didn't have a video that was like yours that was about bodykit fitments and such.

  • niiiiice!

  • this is actually pretty damn cool! i never thought of joining a stock bumper with a body kit bumper... mite hafta try it.. this is what i call STOCKTERMARKET kinda stock kinda aftermarket!! HELL OF A JOB MAN!!!

  • great job!

  • i could help but notice by the license

plate on the front of the suv that you live some where in europe?

  • good job man shows ppl how to make it work with what you got and to try new things

  • HAHA NICE JOB DUDE!! got a taste of JDM there!! :)

  • Kiwi Ingenuity... you even got the "No 8 Wire" in there... haha brilliant!

You've given me a great idea... I'm gona head to the wreckers, and mashup a Commodore & HSV bumper

    Cheers fella

  • Why di´d´nt you use the top part frome the original on the car?

  • Probably just in case he screws it up

  • It is a real body kit that you bought from the market you bought it from the market and bought a extra use oem bumper. So that makes it twice as much money as if you would just bought one in the first place that fit it your car. It looks nice thoo

  • mmmm it did not look home made to me, u bought another one and just put it together booo, but looks nice, i though you were going to make one from scratch..

  • Your so rich and can't even afford real jackstands??

  • sup bro

u down south island or north?

    chur

  • i wish i could do that but i have no idea were to get a mold and the fiberglass

  • i am a big fan of diy car repairs i wana knw if i can make homemade regular bumpers cuuse my cars bumbers been damagedim also a lasic car fan and i wana learn how to make crome bumpers

  • chrome? that is just plain ugly.

chrome never looks good, my opinion, especially on a car.

  • im talking about making a chrme cadillac bumper

  • ohh.

  • im thinking about beinging able to make custum chrome bumpers for lowriders and classic cadillacs the make custom bumpers but i would like to be able to make my own

  • This is not a bodykid this is a modded Front Bumper

  • exactly soo lame

  • i want to costumize my deawoo racer but i dunno were to start

  • Great concept if you're wanting to keep the older style design.

I'm just updating everything to the 94-99 design.

  • 5/5 great vid!

i had no idea that you could do that

    keep it up!
