This is one thing we Arabs need to work on and that is preserving these old classics. What I mean is you can buy any English movie from 50 years ago till now, but to try and get any Classic Arabic movies is almost impossible. Its sucks cause I would pay anything to get this movie in my collection.
Great to see my favorite movie on-line! This is one of the funniest scenes. I personally call it the 'Shankleesh' scene and I do memorize it by heart. Abu Antar is the greatest. My sympathy with the Jeweler, who did not have a happy morning back then!

This movie in particular is responsible for keeping a generation of Arabs born in foreign countries familiar with their culture.
When I was a kid this is all we watched, and I still have it all memorized by heart from 25 years ago.
