This animation was based a more recent model based on the original 1984 series, which resembled a Mazda RX8. And just an FYI the original was a Porsche 935 Turbo, NOT a Pontiac Solstice. So everybody just shut up about it and enjoy the video. Great job by the way!!

This version of jazz is not based on the movie. It's based on a toy line that hasbro came out with a few years before the movie.

no you don;t have to have the toy to make it, but it really helps if you do so you can better understand what twist where and what needs to go where. It also helps to know what the figures limitations are so you're not held by them or you don;t go over board with them.
