@MrDv23 Nah dude, grow the plant to a little bit below your desired height level(The plant will continue to grow a little when budding) then change the lights to 12/12. Better to have a foot high plant with buds than to try and smoke a leaf that will have no effect on you. you can pretty much go 12/12 when ever you want. good luck

in college i turned my walkin closet into a grow room. Used the bar to hang the light, used a rice steamer for humidity and a small fan for moving air. I covered the walls with ten foil. I kept pinching the tops until my plants were about 4'x4' a piece. When you start budding use small amount of sugar in your water helps chrystalize the THC. Also let the plant dry up good before watering, helps prevent yellowing & fungi. I dont smoke anymore (born again christian) but did enjoy growing it.

I'm not hating either, but with the Heat that radiates from the HID lighting, I wouldn't even think of using Card board. Iwouldn't be able to sleep at night If Ihad that set up because I would be wondering and so worried about it catching on fire due to the heat from the light or an arcing spark from the outlet starting a fire. Take it down and build one with plywood or a metal cabinet/ old computer case etc. You can get a pc case cheap at a thrift store.

you want 18 to 20 hrs light for veg. 12 hrs bud. the light you need depends on how big you want to go! 400watt does 4'x4' 600watt does 6'x6' area so on and so on. how long you veg grow depends on how big you want the plants. just rember some plants will grow anywhere from 6'' to 3 ' after you start flowering them just do some research.

Since everyone is pretty critical as i read..i'll give you a few tips that i know. Since your veging in this video..use a light with plenty of blue spectrum..wehn you flower find red spectrum. Try the pet store..you'd be suprised. since your grow spot isn't tall...work on making your plant bushy..put some flouresants along side the plant and don't be afraid to rotate it once in a while. Keep it low and bushy and i don't see a problem. I do agree about the organic plant food..it's way better

you can use a little to aid in the flowering stage, but you will have 200% better results from high pressure sodium (hps)

i found hps, without a doubt produces much grams per watt. floros and led's work easily. but i have way better results with hps.

my sativas are grown with led, only because of the flowering time and energy consumption. but i have 2 1000w hps's going also on the sativas. 7000watts for my indicas, all hps. all organic
