cool, i got the same sticks as you, but my nephew recomended me a plastic tipped stick, as a wooden stick could eventually splinter, and ruin your mesh headed snarre pad.
the reason i choose hornets was for the shape, they don't slip out of your hands easilly when i'm clumbsy again :-D lol.

are those sticks "hornet's" ? (hard to see in the dark)
by the way, nice beat ! did you direct record from your hd-1 ? as i don't hear the sticks hitting the gumrubber pads....
