It is refreshing to see how professional Tommy is. Some crime scene cleaners don't even wear a proper respirator. There are some appalling cleaners who aren't looking out for the welfare of their employees and should never be in the crime scene cleanup business. Tommy is also respectful and compassionate with people, which is, in my opinion, a much needed skill when doing these types of jobs.

My dad is a police officer for a local city here and told me a story once. A crappy motel in town was the location of a suicide in one of the rooms on one of the beds. Once the body was removed by the coroners he said that the manager of the motel simply threw the bed sheets out and had the room rented out by that night. True story.

It's not exactly a con job even though the danger may have been exaggerated a little in this case. That kind of equipment is useful, for example, when a dead body is found. Even with no violence present, it can still leave behind a bloody mess (I saw a video in the same series). The cleaning guy just followed standard procedure even though there may have been relatively little organic matter and what existed was fresh. There may have been more than we saw in the video that just wasn't shown.
