Do you have any sort of valid point to make or are you just throwing stuff out there in the hopes someone might mistake you for some sort of YouTube viewer who is down with an underground movement? Seriously! What point are you trying to make?
@HolyCity2012 The supporters of "The Zeitgeist Movement" are Jesus myth theorists who believe that Jesus did not exist historically. Their ideas are similar to those expressed in the above video.
@StatelessLiberty Where do you think Peter Joseph received his inspiration and information from? You are connecting the dots backwards which will, in the end reveal an almost similar picture but never-the-less backwards.
@StatelessLiberty This video came out in the late 1960s. Allegro, who was the first to publish extensively on this topic, published SMC in 1970. Even my books and works, which Zeitgeist mimics, came out before Zeitgeist. Peter J took this and our work and images and mixed it all up and in many ways did these fields of study a disservice, though at least many more people know about them now, but there's so much Theosophist disinfo and idiots who refuse to read things themselves that it's a mess.
@GnosticMedia Zeitgeist as it is now has nothing to do with thees topics anymore. I am not part of Zeitgeist, but I only want to clarity that Peter Joseph's, first film was a creative outlet to vent his frustration and did incorporate these topics that expose the fallacies of religions. Now Zeitgeist is a thoroughly social movement dealing with the creation of a scientifically and technically efficient society for the benefit of all peoples.

At last, some footage of John Allegro! His book had such a profound affect on my as a teenager and I have always wanted to put a "face" to his work..now to watch the 20 minute interview also posted here...huge thanks for ensuring clips like this do not stay trapped down the memory hole...one of the twentieth century's most undervalued scholars...and lets face it, is jesus as a 'shroom any more or less deranged than the current "nativity" narrative?
you can just imagine the reactions of people when he first came out with his findings.. no wonder the others (ie christians) didnt publish their findings...
I can't believe anyone ever stated that so blankly on national television way back then! LOL. This totally made my night. I want to see the rest of it now.
I believe that if we all took the sacrament at once, the world would be a better place. But I suppose that would throw a wrench in the machine/paradigm of free will, individuality and the 'safe' status quo. This is worthy of debate.
Imagine that, romans crucifying a mushroom. Then you'd find christians saying, "the father, his magic mushroom, and a bottle of holy spirit vinegar".

Allegro would have done well to translate and STOP interpreting!
The entheogenic Christ group was NOT a "cult"; "Christ" almost merges from within w/those that have 'passed muster'.
We're here to give not take and we MUST be willing to lay down our lives as many "CHRISTS" have done since time memorial.
Your fear of death will melt away and be replace with a fascination with what IS 'death' if you don't really 'DIE'?
The mushroom groups found a huge shortcut to more than KNOWING GOD.
