Though, Javed is mostly correct. India too has not completely been able to prove the two nation theroy incorrect.
According to India the Hindus and the Muslims are the same people and therefore there is no need to separate the two. Pakistan on the other hand holds that the Muslims are different people entirely and therefore cannot live with the Hindus. Mostly i believe, India's argument has been vidicated but not entirely.

True Pakistan's foundation itself is two nations theory.till 1947 two nations were hindus and muslims then from 1947-71 two nations in pakistan were punjabis +rest of west pakistan and bengalis.now after 1971 two nations left in rest of pakistan are east of indus (punjab and sindh) and west of indus (Pakhtonwa and balochistan) and after west of indus gets separated from east of indus it will be again south ie sindis and north ie punjabis. so see pakistan is truly based on two nations theory :)

Jawed saab is well read, open-minded and understand real problem and difference between religion and communal-ism. The interviewer had no idea what he was talking with no strong points and just rhetorical arguments. The simple fact is Gandhi was religious but not communal whereas Jinnah was non-religious but still communal and made country on religious lines.
