this game is very fun even thought i was scared of this game when i was little but that was wayyyyyyy back then...

the only thing i hated about this game was getting every item in the game cus alot of back track... i mean it.

All 3 of the Metroid Prime games were great, the ammo system was fine, I only ran out once. it was most likely because of the power the beams had, if you had to much use of it, it would be to easy. and because the multiplayer mode would be unbalanced..

Just wait till the metriod prime trilogy game comes out. All three metroid games will be on it using the same controls as metroid prime 3 :P

everyone says plasma beam and yes i agree it owns...but on hard mode ice beam can make things easier. just a shot and a missile kills basically anything. >.>

i was so rubbish at this game i got stuck on the first or second level against sum millipede boss but i remember beating it after like 60 tries =P but thats it.

It's totally unnessecery.Look at the first and 3 Metroid Primes,they didn't have ammo,and seemed to be just fine.You're supposed to be in a super futureistic suit that can morph into a bal,shoot missles,get tons of upgrades,and you still need ammo?Come on now.

well the beam types were not created by the chozo, like the other beams. they were created by the luminoth. maybe thats why there is the ammo system.
