replicas and many other electronic albums he has also done numan was the king of the 80s in electronic he was know as futuristic new wave punk up to 83
Her interview style is just so weird and awkward. But I will give her credit for some unusaul questions. I'm willing to bet that Gary has never been asked by anyone else if he likes the Pink Panther.

I thought the interview was good but i find this young woman utterly irritating in her speaking pattern, that liltyish sing songy manor that young ladies seem to speak in
Rotweiler. Gary Numan is clearly NOT an electronic artist, he is a rock artist. The ONLY electronic album he produced was The Pleasure Principle.
I suggest you actually go and listen to Gary's vast back catalogue and on up to todays stuff. Then if you really think that Pure or Jagged are electronic albums as opposed to industrial/rock albums then i am just wasting my breath.
cont: or at least fairly good, the rest is just unneeded, interesting interview nevertheless, shame the great Frank Tovey is gone or you could have interviewed him :) Hes the TRUE godfather of this kinda music, followed by Cabaret Voltaire who did three great albums in a row (The Crackdown 1982, Microphonies 1984 and The Covenant ... 1985, and okay that double 12inch single Drinking Gasoline)
aah gary numan, the most overrated of those electro pioneers, hes nothing compared to Frank Tovey's Fad Gadget, early Human League, Soft Cell etc etc,
of all his albums theres maybe 4-5 tracks that are good
He was suspicious of the women dropping at his feet but from what I've heard, it never stopped him shagging them! Heh heh heh!

He strikes me as a very sweet, OK kind of person. And he was very gracious with this dimwit interviewer.

At one point she seemed to be harassing gary for not excepting every invitation to sing " cars " on tv .
gary explained himself over and over he was has new material and wants to sing his new stuff not get invited to do a tv gig and sing " cars"
