@ManicMike26 most cars never than 20 years old have power steering. so look shit up before posting stupid comments. it's powerSLIDING not powerSTEERING. and just because it's in a 4WD car, doesn't mean it can't be drifting. it's drifting when the rear axle's sliding angle is greater than front axle's sliding angle before the apex of the turn and it's powersliding when the rear axle's sliding angle is greater than the front axle's sliding angle after the apex of the turn.

@darenzy: It is a 6-Speed Gearbox. Very few were built with a manual gearbox. In this case I changed the transmission ratio as well as the final drive ratio. Besides that I use a Sachs Racing Performance Clutch. Since this video I added approximately 150 Nm of tourque so that my measuring device now says something above 800 Nm @ 3700 rpm, but I don't really believe that, I think I have to dyno it :)

Yes, was a lot of work. Especially because I never did something like that before, it was the first engine in my life that I opened. Before that project I had never even removed any pistons or held a Turbocharger in my hands. Believe it or not, the most problems I had were the hose clamps, they always broke because of the large diameter of the pipes to the intake manifold (up to 115 mm). There's a lot of axial and radial force...

Go to second 70, there you can see the acceleration compared to an A8 (310 HP), the Video car is the named A8 and is accelerating full throttle. The video is an older one, whre my setup is only 0.7 Bar of boost.

Hey Audi S2Freak :) Naja, ich arbeite auch grade an ner selbstbau-Auspuffanlage mit Klappensteuerung - wobei man die Turbos bisher tatsächlich so gut wie nicht hört. Einzig wenn ab Kat offen ist hört man das Pfeiffen deutlich...

Hast du zufällig nen Handschalter? hab noch nie nen Vergleich gemacht, alle die ich kenn haben Automatik...
