I don't know why it mentions dark spells on a song about the Marauders Map... I mean, I know Harry gets obsessed with watching Draco's dot and that he first learns about Pettigrew's faked death through the map, but still... The Map was his dads, and the twins, so surely its existence is primarily positive, deserving a positive song with connections to the light side, rather than the dark?

@LittleMissSceneSocks The song is titled Marauder's Map, but it's supposed to be about Harry and how much he hated Peter for what he did. He just first discovered Wormtail on the map.

It talks about how much the Marauders do/would hate Peter for what he did. Harry regretted not killing Peter (well the song implies he did), and Sirius and Remus want him dead.
