That's interesting. I would be curious as to what kind of fitness function you would have for nice rhythms, maybe you'd be doing this another way. The only thing I can think of is having a model of a person dancing, somehow, to the rhythms and trying to get the model of the person to dance comfortably or how a real human would dance.

Its best to leave the parents as soon as possible, I got out a few months after turning 18, the earlier you leave the easier it is to leave I've seen people who are 30 something and haven't even tried. IMO financial independance is the first step to having a real life, so have fun =D

GL with the web app, and your milestone, and you should post the book review, I'll check it out even if I find AI mostly not that interesting. I take it you got your music generation working, since you're talking about generating drum loops? Nice, you should post some of the music.
