  • Thanks for the video uploaded

  • Very good and informative video :)

  • this was recorded after Halo: Reach was released and when he said "Modern games" they showed what i think an America's Army game, like WTF?!

  • @gunscankillyou All the games they showed are freeware games so they wouldn't have to worry about copyright infringement (although they did show some sort of Metroid clone, but I guess that's fair game).

  • If I understand this correctly; playing video games makes me a scientist, and I don't

  • @neurocrater i don't think he meant educational learning but was just talking about how in video games people need to learn a lot of things (controls, how to complete certain objectives, ie what weapons to use vs which characters or what spells etcetc you pick up a lot of things. i have learned a lot about wc3, but that knowledge isn't very applicable outside.

  • The camera wasn't close enough to his face for me.

  • Can someone identify the games used in the footage? (Specifically, the Metroid clone)

  • @masterquest91 it's called minitroid, I believe

  • @meekayx3 thanks

  • @masterquest91 I think that's called Minitroid

  • @MinimumOverkill Wow, thanks

  • I like it. I wish colleges would use video games in their study methods; it'd make learning a lot more fun. although it would be a challenge to create such a game (even a crappy game) for many subjects and have the games be effective in teaching as well.
