For those that don't know the whole story in Jax. Please go to news4jax and look up the article. You can weigh in there too, as of 7:50 last night there were 24 pages of comments. Let's keep it going - then MAYBE something will be done. If you have seen the story on the news you can more clearly see that there wasn't even standing water in her driveway - our sidewalk & driveway were way worse than that! We didn't have prisoners sandbagging OUR place!

Thank you for posting this disgusting video. This is just another fine example of how Jacksonville, FL caters to a certain demographic. We were without power for 52 hours & we couldn't get any help. Who knew we could call the mayor's chief of staff directly for such personal & prompt service, even in the midst of the storm. What a disgrace. Once again SHAME SHAME on Jacksonville.

I am with you - we were out 96 hours - thanks Jacksonville appreciate it again - same thing happened in 04 except that time it was I think 8 days or so I have tried to block it out. (although it still takes one entire weeks pay to pay my JEA bill) go figure!!
