Violence is just a part of human nature. It will never go away entirely. When I was in school, I wanted to kill a lot of my peers and principles for the crap that they gave me. They treated me as though I was some sort of a sex offender even if I was just chatting or discussing assignments to girls. My latest dream was that I was in college and that most of my peers treated me like they did in 9th grade and I was killed by the police even though I had no weapons on me.

I was never homicidal until I was prescribed Zoloft for depression. This medicine is junk. When I started taking it, I became obsessed with murder and violence. Eric Harris was taking the same medicine and I can say that if he wouldn't have been taking it, I doubt this would have ever happened. I flushed this crap down the toilet and my death obsession left me. Antidepressants are bad news.

you are absolutely right. most people doing violence are on psycho meds. but the pharmaceutical industry owns this country and the politicians are just their puppets. the phamaceuticals make trillions of dollars of profit every year. most medicines kill people. and most medicines don't cure a disease and only treat the symptoms. but the people are not uniting to stop the criminals who are very much united all around the world internationally. these criminals looth our treasury and our health.

All Jocks and goody two shoes should watch these videos to see what the repercussions are of years of harassment and humiliation. I was teased and bullied for years and it almost got the best of me. I wanted to shoot everyone in my school for the crap they said and did to me. Luckily, I stayed home on 4/20/09 sick and watched the columbine shooting on the news. I think I might have went on to do it if I didn't see what happened there. I was only about 75 miles from Littleton then.

why do our schools not try to find the talents of the kids?when our schools start to look for the kids talents and push them in that direction as well as they have found the kids faults i think that will do a lot towards ending violence.its sad we send our kids to school to be picked on for what they cant do and make them go or face jail.school should be fun and the kids should like to go and we can do this by praising them for what their good at,even if it isnt sports.stop picking on the kids.

this truly breaks my heart. i just wish these students (kids!) who did such horrible acts had outlet to express their feelings before killing innocent people...im not saying what they did wasn't wrong b/c it was and they should be punnished for it-u kill someone you should have life in prison but its just so sad b/c prison or no prison doesn't bring anyone back and it doesnt make the killer feel any better...its so sad and i hope that school violence can one day be something from the past.

The problem with school shootings is that there are different motives. In Columbine, the shooters had some problems. It wasn't grades since they were Straight-A students. Perhaps it was a psychological complex such as a messiah comples. In contrast, the shooter at Virginia Tech had a lot of issues in interpersonal relationships. Another thing is that anti-gun idiots will say that there should be tighter gun laws while the shooters hardly ever obey the ones already set.

Well, it depends on the person. If it's some punk who likes to put people down to make himself or herself feel better, then that person probably deserves a good beating. For ever big school shooting that you hear about, there are lots of smaller ones that you don't hear about.

i see what your saying but how can you not remember columbine. I still believe today that it is the most talked about one ever. Not to eliminate any respect for everyones life in a school shooting but columbine branched out into so many different things even 10 years later

i like the cideo but you probably got this already but harris and kelbold killed 12 students, 1 teacher, and then killed themselves. I hope you got a good grade on the project. Like you, I want violence to end. RIP Laura Engelhardt: 1991-2009, was killed in her home trying to save her family. our graduation is on the 31st of May.

first of all: great video

never mind 'bout the mistakes. no one's perfect and no one can catch up with ALL the school shootings that occured in the US and worldwide! I live here in Germany and I've been to the US for 2 yrs - it's been a great shock to the country when the school shooting happended in Erfurt. No one would have ever thought that this could even happen HERE!! Cuz gun laws are so much stricter...but he was just some angry kid that couldn't handle it.
