1) It's funny how ex-Jets coaches are all considered royalty, even though they didn't do much while they were there. Edwards, Mangini, and Carroll had sub-.500 records by the time they were fired, and Parcells only won ONE playoff game.

They barely got into the playoffs that year because they owned the tie-breaker wtih Miami and New England. His career record as a head coach is 54-74. He is a good evaluator of DB talent and that is it. He is a bad head coach.

But as a head coach he was horrible, the two seasons under the jets, they barely made the playoffs in 2002 and 2004, cause they started 5-0 and finished 10-6. Not to go into the playoffs.
