He became known when everyone was singing 'hook' songs. They were kinda corny but that's what the producers were marketing. You have to respect him for surviving endlessly in that business and having made his mark, perform material that displays the talent that he is. My best wishes to the man and his future.

Don't know why you all are surprised - A REAL musician knows his roots and respects them. Only non-musicians put music into categories and boxes.

Glen could've done an R&B/Jazz record. Hell, Ray Charles won a Grammy in the early-60's for a country album! While Jim Crow laws were still around...

This Yankee will always have respect for the true-blue class-act that is Glen Campbell.
