@Bumptiously I was wondering too. It's Anne Murray. It kinda looked like her, so I did a google. There's even a couple vids on YT of them performing together. Little Jimmy Dickens(I think) at 1:42. Also saw Tom T Hall, Jimmy Dean, Suzanne Pleshette, and others. He had many friends. RIP Jerry.
Noymanmic, I enjoyed the heck out of this. Do you ever think you would have time to tag names on the "friends" in the photos...that would be really interesting. I'm especially curious who the female singer is at 1:35, with the layered/feathered short haircut?
Great song that is hard to find and a great video composition to go with it....shows Mr. Jerry Reed Hubbard with a few of his friends throughout his career! We sure miss that hairy legged guitar pickin wild man....son.
If you have Fox Movie Channel and the Directv Video on Demand Service you can download this uncut with not Station Logos. I did last month. Perfect Copy
One of the most underappreciated songwriters and guitar players in all of pop music.
Of course, as he said, he had a lot of money, had played music with some good players and could spend as much time on the water fishing as he wanted! Pretty blessed life.
I sure miss him though, weird thinking he's passed.
Finally. They showed this on the Fox Movie Channel. I've been waiting for this movie for a long time. Thankfully my tivo caught it and recorded it for me.
Son, thanks for posting this great Reed song that is so hard to find these days! It and Semolita for another example are great songs that are not on any on the Reed CD's...at least I've got 'em on vinyl! And your pics of The Wildman with all his famous friends and aquaintances are outstanding! What a great posting...now give that boy some room and let him pick that guitar, son! We sure miss you Jerry.
I really liked him. It's a terrible shame he had to leave us so soon. Love you Jerry! Rest in Peace.

Many thanks for the great tribute to a wonderful musician. When he passed I thought of that song. Pleased that was a longer version.

This is purely fantastic. It makes me want to go back and freeze the world at about 1982.
