  • does this work genarally on all servos?

BTW YOU sound like petes son chris from family guy lma off

  • how do you know what size resistor to use?

  • so basically by modifying the duty cycle now you control speed instead of position? but with the same ratio? i.e. instead of going to the 0 position it goes at maximim RPM CCW and instead of going to the max position (180 o 220 deg) it goes at max RPM CW?? or how do you control RPM?

  • ohh and one more question.. what happens when you connect a gyro to this servo in HH mode ?

    thanks

  • hi.. thanks for the vid.. i was looking to do the same.. one question thou. why did you use the 220 resistors ? i wont be using the HS65 servos with this mod. so i need to know what resisitors to use ? how to u know that ?

  • And I thought that hack just makes servo rotate with ONE speed (one direction or another). But after watching your video I see that servo will be rotating with different speed depending on the position on the transmitter.

So, please tell if this is a normal behavior or it's a special setting in transmitter?

  • @birdstinyworld I added a bunch of expo to the 360 servo as well as reduced the channel "travel limit" The travel amount now determines the rpm of the servo instead servo position..

  • Could you please tell if you set up your transmitter in a way it rotates servo with the different speed?

This is very important for me. I have a futaba 6ex transmitter and I plan to uncover my Hitech servo and replace potentiometer with two resistors and hack gear as you proposed.

  • Hallo

I am from Holland so sorry for my bad englisch

Nice mobi i have dome it and it works

Jou told in your video over à 180 degree servo

    How do you do that

Dou you have à video of thaumaturg

    Keep THE goed work

    Arjo

    From Holland

    Thanks

  • nice! im thinking about using this method for a simple camera jib! :D thx
