The genius part is that Justin Wong does a CLUTCH air Viper Beam which gives him the LV.1 meter to cancel into Hyper Viper Beam and wins him the match.
with 1 pixel and 8 seconds on the clock.
That's not even counting when he had the clarity to do the Fierce Viper Beam during Cyke's Mega Optic Blast to match the super's duration. Considering it being a Grand Finals match and the stress/rivalries involved, this is my personal favorite comeback in any fighting game EVER!

X lost because he ran away. Justin feels comfortable in the situation and patiently waited for X to make the mistake. X should have kept the pressure on Justin, as Cable can't really pressure you ( except for 3 pixels of chip or more each setup), besides Cable takes more blockstun from other chars...
@RedRyders A lot of money on the line and he's playing against a guy who's notorious for OCCing everyone out of their shoes? You might as well try and run.
@RedRyders Also, as you saw, Cable can punish everything within a second and turn it into a kill.
The Storm actually only had to do one thing, and that was Hail Storm. However, she's vulnerable for about 2 seconds in the air before it comes out, which is all Cable would need to kill her. What can I say? AHVB changes everything.
Of course he had to use Cable cheese to win. I hate Wong because all the no-skill retards out there try to copy his gameplay, even though most have trouble doing basic moves.
@someguyhunter They both suffer the same problems of if they a player is good at controlling the space on the screen, they won't be landing them. Both Sent and Storm are excellent at controlling space, and have excellent movement options to keep them away and do steady damage. If you watch the video, notice that Wong's Mag never landed ROM on either.
@andysensei only takes 1 combo or 1 snap to end a character. storm and send are above mag in tiers but only very slightly. they are all pretty much god tier and the difference is so small its not even worth mentioning and adding that -________________- shit you were doing.
@someguyhunter I still don't see how any of your arguement is relative toy our original comment.. You said "Jwong is a tourney player and uses god tier magneto" like that's the reason he won.. when he's playing a tourney player of similar level using God tier characters that better than Wong's..
@andysensei OH SENSEI THAN YOU FOR EXPLAINING THE MYSTERIES OF LIFE!!!!!!
not.
like i said. the tier difference between storm mag and sent are so slight its not even worth mentioning troll. go -____________- somewhere else you chink.
@lux0r she didnt. at the last point she tried to do the snow thing to chip cable. thats why justin wong was able to connect with his last air hyper viper.
I would have just sat there and block lol

@pratikh every god tier character in MvC2 uses the same 3 moves. that's how it works. there is no cheese when everyone does it.

D: you played a great game. jwong is a tourney player tho and uses god tier mag-fucken-neto.
someguyhunter 2 years ago
@someguyhunter They both top tourney players -__-
And Storm and Sentinel are both above mags in tiers -_______-
andysensei 1 year ago
@andysensei magneto and ironman are usually feared more than storm and sentinel for the cheap ass infinites.
you can literally win with just one of those characters.

@someguyhunter ok, i guess i gotta break the whole thing down
you make a comment, saying things like, wong won because he is a tourney player. I say desmond is also a tourney player, of near equal level
you also attribute wong winning to using god tier characters, I say desmond is using them, too, and better ones, at that.
Your point being the playing field wasn't level, mine being it was. Nothing else you said is relevant to this.

yep that was amazing kind of weird how the hyper combo meter never ran out with cable spamming his hyper viper cannon/laser like that in the air???
bushisprez 2 years ago
He was charging a lot, doing a lot of jabs and grenades and viper beams to get his meter up.
Had 4 when magneto died.
Used 3 on cyclops, 1 on sentinel, had almost another full bar.
When storm was charging, so was he, so he could keep it up.
