Thank you so much for your comments! I'm not sure I understand what u mean about the r's... I can hear anything funny, but maybe that's why, lol! I'm Irish and my voice is super breathy and towards the front of my mouth. maybe that's what you're hearing?

As for training... I've never had much one on one training of any kind. I was in choirs and chorus in high school and I had one private lesson in college. But that's it. I try to teach and practise myself :)

You have really good technique, though, so I am impressed! The fact that you are Irish explains everything-it's just your accent:-) That's probably why you don't hear it-I never catch when I sing things in my own dialect instead of standard American, which is the accent for this song. In lessons here, they just say to skip over the r's more and say things like "wuhld" for "world" Does that sort of answer the question? You actually don't sound breathy to me at all-your tone sounds fantastic!
