Why have you cut out all the bits about how the thief seeing how nice Muslims are, and wanting to convert to Islam. What actually happened is the guy came in and got a gun pulled on him, he then cries about his situation, to which the owner gives him $40, then the thief says I want to convert to Islam, the owner says only if your sure and promise to never steal/rob again. Then he gives him some bread and when he turns to get milk the guy runs.
