  • Lakota silver rounds are terrific looking coins

  • I love this idea, I hate the fed, but Lakota silver rounds are not competitively priced, and they are not divisible.

  • Why is silver not changing in value? All the other precious medals are.

  • wow, controlling the value of your own nations money is a good idea, the United States should try it

  • please interview the lakota bank.. i want to know more MORE !!

  • stupid, why do you say google 4409, you sound sick & stupid

  • Great report Ridley...from the looks of your hit counter you've hit the big time with this one.

  • google "Gaurdians Of Oglala" for a little historical perspective.

  • Okay, those previous two comments I made, IGNORE THEM. I apologize! The coins arrived and they're beautiful.

I repeat, IGNORE THE PREVIOUS TWO COMMENTS I MADE!!! THE COINS ARRIVED!!!

For those who have given me negative remarks, you were right to do so!! lol! In fact I will add to that tally!!

This has been a wonderful and yet incredibly befuddling day! I have a few theories as to why the transaction "appeared" the way it did but we'll leave that for later!

    Cheers All!

  • Folks, this appears to be a scam unfortunately. "This sounds to good to be true." Exactly, it is not true. Excellently executed and TIMED scam to launch this just a few days after the End The Fed rally.

Seriously, do not order any coins or open an account with them. Trust me.

  • read their website. you sound ignorant.

  • also that the lakota free bank has nothing to do with the republic of lakota. check the forum on the RoL's website for a sticky comment about how the guy running this has scammed the RoL in the past, too.

  • be aware that Canupa Gluha Mani, who answers emails for the bank, has the following aliases in the nebraskan jail system: LITTLEHORSE RICHARD LYNN LITTLEHOUSE RICHARD LYNN MARTIN ANTHONY B MARTIN DUANE ANTHONY MARTIN DUANE ANTHONY, SR. MARTIN JOHNATHON L MARTINEZ DUANE MARTINEZ DWANE RICHARD LITTLEHORSE, RICHARD LYNN LITTLEHOUSE, RICHARD LYNN MARTIN DWAYNE MARTIN, DUANE ANTHONY SR MARTIN, JOHNATHON L. MARTINEZ DUANE
  • Anyone could separate from the Fed

  • Awesome...thanks for the video and info.

  • me thinks this "amateur anchor-man" has had a drink or five.

  • It's true. I am a subscriber to their newsletter. Peace2U!!

  • This guy sucks at reading news.

  • IMHO everyone makes a mistake by putting "dollar" on their "medallion". If I wanted to create a substitute currency, I'd just make it an "ounce". (Dollar was a corruption of the word "thaller", the name of a silversmith.) Like we don't know the price of silver in worthless Federal Reserve Notes.

  • I agree. The designation should only be a weight.

  • @reinkefj old post I know but actually a dollar is 23 grams of gold. It was a weight in gold used as a measurement. Peace.

  • any other concerns folks are running into regarding the bank?

  • It appears to be a scam. This is most unfortunate. There is nothing on the Republic of Lakotah's website about the launch. There is only a small mention under the "projects" section that talks about how they look to have their own bank in the future.

I unfortunately did order a few coins (nothing huge so I'll be fine) and the order is tracked to TYENT which is a Water Ionizer company. Hmmm... not good.

Definitely avoid this, at least for now.

  • The same people who make the Lakota coin will sell you a silver "Neo-Coin" with a picture of Dick Cheney on the obverse. If you want to pay up to $40 for a silver round that's worth about $14, go right ahead. Personally, I am waiting for a deal to come through with a business associate from Nigeria. I might buy a Lakotah coin when they correct the spelling. The Republic of Lakotah spells it with a final h. w-w-w (dot) republicofdekotah (dot) com.

  • It is too good to be true. Buyer beware. Be "very ware."

  • Are the views stuck at "666", ? That be a little bit strange.

At least the natives aren't as stupid as the majority of US citizens. Paper issued by a private bank is worthless, the paper is only as valuable as the government. How much value do you put on the Federal Government, I wouldn't give two bits for the entire US government.

  • I sincerely hope they don't run into the same bunch of mafia thugs that e-gold did.

Ooops, I mean "government regulators". With lots of big guns.

  • It says, "this video is no longer available"

Now I really want to see it! Damn!

  • I'm not having any trouble viewing this video right now.

  • Good job Lakota is a Nation is it not. Where can I get my silver?

  • Brave Indians leading the way...Sovereign Nation with the right to have their own system .... i bet the FEDS are furious and don't want this news to spread...march on!

  • YES FINALLY!!! the MERGER OF MEDIA!!!

    4409 + Ridley FUCKING ROCK.

  • I tried that link to 4409, it would not work?

Great video thanks for the info!

  • The YT channel is RP4409

    and the website is freedomsphoenix()com/

  • Awesome, I will be opening account if I can.

  • Either the link in the description is wrong or the web site is down.

  • Maybe they're marketing on the fact that this is a shiny new thing that no one has yet. Maybe the prices will level out in time.

  • The markup is significantly smaller if you buy very large quantities, like over 500. It's still a bit high even then, but something like $15 instead of $50. I think the markups are still WAY too high for smaller quantities.

  • Great post Dave!!!

Your ;ink goes to a generic site though..

    Here's the correct one

    press(dot)freelakotabank(dot)com/

    No Hard Feelings?

  • This is so awesome, I recieved this information from Restore the Republic.

1 oz silver round $40usd, you can purchase and have delivered OR leave in your newly opened account.

  • Not to be a downer, but all these coins are just collectibles. I wouldn't recommend spending over $12 / coin if you really want to protect your wealth or start a currency with your local American Indian community.

  • nscipione-

Restore the Republics release states : "The Free Lakota Bank issues an American Open Currency Standard Approved currency, making it readily accepted for trade by over 10,000 merchants and businesses across the continent."

  • Of course you can trade it since it is silver. You'll just get $40 less than what you paid for.

  • They are working on lowering the price for buyers, give them time.

Newsletter recieved today from Lakota Bank states, "a great number of you would like to know how you can access our silver currency at a discount for delivery or deposit. I will send an email later today regarding the "Silver Buyer's Club", a service that aggregates smaller purchases to obtain volume discount rates."

  • You can get silver for $12/oz? Sign me up!

Where I live (Houston) you're lucky if you can find silver bullion for $14, and that's at $2000 quantities.

The COMEX prices are absolute bullshit, if you can find silver anywhere near the "market" prices, please tell me.
