@4against1 Now I have nothing against Travis but if you ask Travis himself he will tell you that he is not the best drummer and I saw your comments on Buddy Rich videos and in an interview Travis tells you that Buddy Rich was one of his biggest influences. And Travis doesn't hold the sticks properly either your thumbs are suppose to face each other and his point up. I feel like such a dupe. A former friend of mine knew Jim and I could have met and hung out with him. However at the time I was getting out of drumming and into guitar. Now I've come full circle and he's gone. He did use my drums for a clinic though and wrote me a note thanking me.

Jim Chapin is a living legend amongst the all time greats. Dig a little deeper into who he is and he will become (if you are a drummer) someone to whom you will embrace...he has taught or educated just about everyone who is world renown as a drummer. We have either learned from his books or through others he has educated. This video is introductory level at best...I guarantee you could not stay in the same room as he if he cracked it up...do your homework, be respectful and embrace him.
