@suddenlyitsobvious It isn't innapropriate at all, it happens all over the world with many many tv shows and programmes, it happens with non-English-speaking people being interviewed in English, it's a very common thing and is no big deal at all. You'll probably have seen it at some point in your life and not realised it.

Obviously not EVERYONE in Latin America can speak fluent English so to make it easier viewing they will ask questions in Spanish then dub with a Spanish voice for Roger.

It is utterly RUDE to speak to someone in a language knowing he doesn't master it, and it is quite pointless in this case, since Roger obviously isn't going to reply in spanish so they'll need to dub him or create subtitles. Why then not simply do the same thing for the interviewer -just subtitle it?
