  • cool have fun and post a response!

  • fuck dude. ure good..verry clean.. and u were on bbc ? they stole this from u and put it in a program? wtf??

  • Hey its all been resolved with the BBC and is ALL good. Kinda cool that they did! Glad you like my cuts.

  • Cuts are clean as a whistle

  • you should try a rane ttm56, your cuts would be crazy

  • Kewl.........how long does it take to master scratching technique? how awesome

  • Well, to master anything, I would say its a lifelong process of learning and doing, but you can get decent at scratching in a year or two if you put in alot of time and practice. Hope that helps.

  • Are you getting paid by the BBC?

iam watching a programme called walk on the wild side on bbc 1 and in between some scenes the cuts from this vid appear..and it sounds exactly the same :)

I know you have been on c4 before thats why i ask..it is definately your cuts from this vid..

even the 2 note drag back + stab combo was on there with crabs..

    ££££££££££££££££££££ sue em lol

  • hmm no i'm not. Were the cuts over this instrumental track? I haven't released any audio for their use.

  • Just caught it on iPlayer, you are right, that is my audio, they must have stolen it from this video. Thanks for the heads up.

  • They could have atleast asked to be nice :)

If i use audio of Youtube i always ask to use it if its there work...

  • All resolved with the BBC now!

  • killed it

    got talent

  • leipe shit ouwe

  • wow those cuts are so clean!

  • kick ass man....!

    really nc..

  • Its called a Vestax

Vestax r the best mixers straight out bro

i got myself one one word amazing

  • fresh.

  • add it to my favorites!

  • sounds tuff!!!! feelin da cuts man

  • awesome scratching!!

  • what kind of mixer is that?

  • haha the most classic scratch mixer ever.

    It's a vestax

  • vestax 06 pro with a pro x fade inside, before that i had a penny and giles cross fader will i wore it out and i dont think they make them anymore.

  • You still can buy the P&G crossfader, atleast at a German store I buy stuff once in a while.

I hate the proX it only gives me trouble with my pmc07(not cutting the sound and stuff), I swapped it again with a P&G, want to have an innofader those are the shit.

    good cuts again ;)

  • Oh cool. Yeh I am also after the innofader I heard its the bomb!

  • ok sorry man i didn't know. im not much of turntablist, i just like to play good music.

    cheers

  • the only thing holding me back is my mixer. As a starter, I thought any mixer would do. I have a Numark DXM01USB but the crossfader cant give me extremely fast cuts.

  • yeh upgrade its well worth it!

  • funking NASTY!!

  • cranky...

  • Makes me wanna get a hell of a lot better too - but i don't think i have the equipment to be honest.

I need help on that. The mixer i have is a Numark DM2002X, and 2 Omnitronic DD turntables (Think Numark tt's -2 steps), they have enough torque - only just :E

So yea, an upgrade is needed, but where to?

  • Yeh you do need decent equipment. If you can manage at least with your turntables, invest in a decent scratch mixer that has a good crossfader with a sharp cut in. I use the Vestax 06 pro with a pro x fade crossfader inside which works for me. I heard that the innofader crossfader is much better so i'm looking to try that out. Decks wise, I would recommend Technics 1200 / 1210 (the only difference in numbers is the colour) OR Vestax PDX 2000. It really is worth it. Hope that helps.

  • @ 2:44 to 2:50 are those chirps? can you explain please. i know theres crabs at the end. tks :)

  • That's right its chirps! It is a little variation so the chirp pattern is 1234 - I let go of the record on the 3 count so that it sounds a little different that pushing it forwards as you would a normal chirp. I hope that makes sense. I'll cover chips soon. Record control is real important!

  • yep it makes sense. i will give it ago tomorra. tks

  • dope! makes me wanna practise,..
