usually it's pretty easy with 5's. check the lace lock, if it's very clear and looks like cheap plastiv it's fake. Also check the colorway, because if it wasn't an official colorway that didn't come out it's fake. Also check the shark teeth/flames, if they aren't pointed and look straight they're most likely fake...unless they're Og's or 2000 retros. Also check the overall shape of the shoe...if it's off than it's fake
