They really need to make out but apparently The Powers That Bee don't want them to have a hot steamy totally satisfying make out scene that has been long time coming...it's the most frustrating and gratifying thing ever.
LOVE THIS SCENE. It's the best almost kiss I've ever scene. And you can tell Scully's about to lean in to it when that damn bee stings her! And then Mulder's face once she jerks away. You can tell he's thinking she didn't want it; he says "I'm sorry." But it's the bee! Aaahhh! The tension!
