Why are you only doing the back part of her head ....when you get extentions your whole head should be done so it doesn't look fake. I can tell she has extentions in and that the hair is whispy. Personal oppinion when your paying for extentions ....get your whole head done.

The extensions don't look terrible but they don't look fantastic either.

I have Racoon extensions and I'd highly rec them, they look SO natural. I've been getting them almost a year now. Very expensive (around £700) and take say 4-7 hours to apply but so worth it. Stay in 3-4 months. You have to be prepared for the maintenance though, as others have said extensions aren't for everyone, they are time consuming to look after sometimes.

it really depends on where you get it done. Usually the stylist will have you pay for the hair (price varies on length usually) and the cheapest that I have ever seen to actually have them done right is about $100/hour. Quickest I have ever seen them done is 4 hours. Hope that helps :)

That's halrious that she says that cuz my hair stylist said to do LOTS of conditioning before the extensions were put in. Oh and those watching...this costs around 2-3 thousand dollars. I'd go with clip ons or a weave if i were ya'll.

Oh and i don't suggest you do this unless you have really strong hair cuz if your hair is brittle YOUR hair will slide out with the bonds... true story. happened to my mom

They don't cut them out, they use the same heat to take them out with some glue remover and then they comb the glue residue out and shampoo the hair.

lol they dont cut them out they have a solution that they put on the keratin glue to take them out. this type of extension is the fusion technique it can last up to a year if cared for really well. the hair can be colored highlighted and permed. you shampoo and style it like ur real hair. the lady didnt match her color very well in the back tho...it looked fake

It all looks great now but wait 6-8 weeks when your hair has grown and you need to re-do them. It costs around $1000 each time you go depending on how many. For a full head 80-120 strands is good. If only there was a way of re-using the same strands so there wasn't any waste and keeping the costs down. Metal bonds are also available to re-use each time. Once you have the extensions put in and cut you can not re-use them. They will all be different lengths.
